| INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS |
| I. Preparing your presentation data |
| 1) |
Only a PC projection using a single screen is provided. |
| 2) |
The PC is installed with Windows XP (PowerPoint 2003, PowerPoint 2007).

| 3) |
Windows standard font should be used. |
| 4) |
The monitor size of LCD projectors is XGA (1024 x 768).
For MAC users: If you use a Macintosh or live images (Windows, Macintosh), please bring your own computer and make sure that your PC has D-sub15 pin monitor output. To use a Macintosh, you will need a connector to convert to the D-sub15 pin. Note that connections other than a D-sub15 pin are not available. Also, please bring your AC power adaptor. |

In order to avoid a virus infection, scan your data with updated anti-virus
software beforehand. |
| 6) |
Save your data in a USB flash drive (pen drive) or CD/DVD-ROM. Before bringing
in your data, check by previewing on a different type of PC other than
the one you used when you made the data. Confirm that the picture links
function properly. |

| II. At the venue |
| 1) |
You should bring your data in a USB flash drive or CD/DVD-ROM, and/or bring
your own PC to the PC Registration/Speaker Ready Desk (PC Center) at the
venue at least three hours prior to your presentation, except the first
day. If your presentation time is in the early morning, we strongly recommend
you register the day before. |

| III. At the presentation |
| 1) |
For a scientific paper presentation, your presentation time is 7 minutes
followed by 2 minutes discussion. |
| 2) |
Please observe the presentation time. Timekeepers will check the time and
length of each presentation. A yellow lamp will be turned on 1 minute before
the end of your presentation time. Subsequently, a red lamp will be turned
on at the end of your designated time. |
| 3) |
After each presentation, the copied file on the PC will be erased; this
will be the responsibility of the Congress. |

| INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTATIONS |
| 1. |
Scientific posters will be presented on a backboard panel (90cm in width,
180cm in height). An optimal-sized poster is 90cm wide and 150cm high.
The poster should include: the Poster Number, Title, Name of Author(s),
Affiliation and the Main Text. The poster number should be printed in the
upper left corner of your poster. Your poster number will be found in the
final program on our URL. |

Set-up time is 08:30-10:00 am on November 21 (Friday), and tear-down is
2:00-3:00 pm on November 22 (Saturday) at Hall C. Thumbtacks will be available
at the Venue. |
| 3. |
Presenters must be available in person for an hour discussion period, 1:00-2:00
pm on November 22 (Saturday). |

| ORAL SESSION CHAIR INSTRUCTIONS |
|
EBefore the meeting:
Read each abstract in your session. The abstracts are available online at URL: http://procom-i.co.jp/acomfr2008/. Prepare 2-3 questions for each presentation to stimulate discussion. For chairing a plenary/educational lecture, please read the CV beforehand. |

EBefore the session:
Arrive early to familiarize yourself with the room and audiovisual equipment. A technician will be available in the room if you need any technical help with the equipment. |

EDuring the session:
There will be no announcements, so the chair is responsible for opening the session on time. Identify yourself and your co-chair to the audience. Introduce each speaker by his/her name. For a plenary/educational lecture, introduce the speakerfs CT briefly. Please control the time of the presentation. Lead and stimulate the discussion.
